I went to explore an area called the Gully. It is a Forrest walk with nz natives and Redwood trees. Afterwards i enjoy a refreshing cold drink and game of pool at the Marble bar.

Dune weeding

I had a productive day doing dune weeding for Costal Care at Tay Street Mount Maunganui. We learnt about different weeds to remove and why it is important to do so.

Marshalls animal farm

I had a great time exploring Marshall's animal farm. Being spring there were lots on new life, a baby foal, lambs & ducklings. It was nice having a cuddle with the guinea pig too.
