Jammed packed July!
The highlight for me this month was spending the morning at One and a half acre wood animal farm. Feeding the sheep and goat and patting the horse, guinea pig and my favourite of the day the big kunikuni pig who liked having a scratch on his bum and tummy! I went to watch the drama performance and cheered for my friends and I was happy to start the new term off back on the stage. I look forward to acting for a performance soon! I’ve been to Greerton library, Arohanui Greerton centre to sing and socialise with friends, Quirks cafe, Historic village and Growers Direct to collect excess cauliflower and lettuce seedlings. We planted them in the Wilrose garden. I did a little experiment cutting tomato slices to get some more tomato plants growing ready for spring. Fingers crossed they are successful and I can take a plant home!
